Stainless Steel Flashback Arrestors
- The flashback arrestor has successfully withstood 13 consecutive subsonic flame tests, each time preventing flame passage. To ensure reliable performance, regular inspection and maintenance of the arrestor are essential.
- Inspect the arrestor every six months to check for blockage, deformation, corrosion, or other issues in the fire arrestor core.
- Clean any blocked fire arrestor cores thoroughly to ensure every hole remains unobstructed. Replace cores that are deformed or corroded.
- When reinstalling the fire arrestor core, ensure the joint surfaces are tightly sealed to prevent gas leakage.

The 316L stainless steel flashback arrestor is a device that prevents and blocks "flashback"—a phenomenon where, during accidents or system instability, when the gas pressure in the pipeline decreases, the flame from the combustion point spreads backward through the pipeline toward the gas source. The device specifically designed to interrupt this backward flame propagation is called a flashback arrestor.
